Before payment made, please double check and make sure all details are correct:

  1. Your credit card is required for payment confirmation.
  2. Room rates will be charged upon confirmation.
  3. Refund only applicable if there is error in transaction and any cancelation need to go through our cancellation policy.
  4. No changes on Check-in dates.
  5. No changes on selected hotel branches.
  6. Check-in time is after 15.00hours and check-out time before 12.00 hours

CANCELLATIONS, AMENDMENTS, REFUNDS AND NO SHOWS

Cancellations or amendments to your booking must be completed 3 days before the day of your original check-in date. You cannot cancel a booking after this time. Cancellation up to 72 Hours before Check in: Full value of the booking. In the event of late cancellation the hotel reserves the right to charged 100% fee for the entire stay via credit card, which provide upon made reservation For online bookings made through the Hotel website, unless stated in individual rate plan terms and conditions, a deposit equivalent to the first night room charge shall be deducted from the credit card upon completion of booking. No refund shall be made if your reservation is cancelled or modified within 72 hours prior to check-in date. No refund shall be made if stay dates overlap 24 December to 1 January, during the LIMA period for that year and other selected dates stipulated in the individual rate plan. If you do not arrive at the hotel on the scheduled date of arrival, you will be deemed to be a ‘no show’ and your booking will be cancelled and in accordance with our cancellation policy no refunds will be made to the customer and all the payment will be charged. If you intend to arrive after 1am on the scheduled date of arrival you must inform the hotel otherwise our no show policy will apply. No Show, without cancellation: Full value of the booking, No Show-100% of the booking will be charged.

THIRD –PARTY BOOKING SOURCES

In the case of cancellation or modifications to reservations made through sources other than directly with the Hotel or the Hotel website, the Hotel recommends that guests first contact their source of booking for assistance before approaching Hotel staff.

ROOM OCCUPANCY

The total number of occupants in a room, including children, shall not exceed the maximum number of occupants permitted for the respective room types: SUPERIOR ROOM : up to 2 persons DELUXE KING : up to 2 persons DELUXE TWIN : up to 2 persons SEAVIEW ROOM : up to 2 persons FAMILY DELUXE : up to 3 persons AGE REQUIREMENT Guests must be 18 years or older with photo identification to check-in. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The Hotel reserves the right to check photo identification.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT POLICIES

*Guest are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check in. *Standard Check in at 15.00hrs *Check out at 12.00noon * Room rates are in Ringgit Malaysia. *The hotel guest cannot hand over a room to third persons, even if the period for which the guest paid has not yet expired. At the check in, hotel will collect deposit of MYR 50.00 per room, this deposit is fully refundable upon check out, subject to consumption check and damage inspection. Deposit must paid in cash.

TOURIST TAX

From September 1st, 2017, as per Government of Malaysia requirements, *A tourist tax of MYR 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check in. Guest with valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

*All below Cards acceptable at this hotel: *American Express *Visa card *MasterCard *Union pay *All Payments are processed in Ringgit Malaysia as required by law. If you are using your credit card to guarantee your room reservation, the Hotel may hold an amount on your credit card prior to arrival. For non-refundable bookings, prepayment will be charged to your card prior to your arrival.

GENERAL POLICIES DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY

The Hotel reserves the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage or soiling, caused by accidental, deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the Hotels’ property or structure You must not leave under 18s unattended in any rooms or public areas at any times. SAFE DEPOSIT BOX Royal Agate provides a safety deposit box in the rooms. For detailed information, please ask at the Reception. The Hotel is not responsible for any valuables and money, left unlocked and outside the individual safe, including those in the guest’s rooms and public areas.

PETS

Pets are not allowed in the Hotel Premises.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

*Animal of any kind *Flammable, explosive or otherwise hazardous materials *Unregistered firearms or other weapons *Object of and unusually large size or in unusually quantities *Objects emitting a foul odour *Articles related to use in gambling, prostitution, smuggling or other illicit acts. * Illegal drugs or other articles, the possession of which is prohibited by the laws of Malaysia. *The Hotel reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest found to be in possession of prohibited items. Guest shall be solely liable and responsible for all loss financial or otherwise, and damage that may be caused by such items. VISITORS In the interest of your well-being and security, all visitors are required to register at the Front Desk.

HEALTH AND WELL-BEING POLICIES EXCESSIVE NOISE AND PARTIES

No gatherings and parties of any nature are allowed. To ensure all guests enjoy the comfort and safety of the facilities we offer, the Hotel upholds a strict zero tolerance policy towards commotion, excessive noise and parties. Any person found to be on our premises creating excessive noise, having a party, exceeding the numbers of permitted guests or otherwise causing a disturbance will be requested to leave the hotel without refund.

INAPPRORIATE BEHAVIOR

Should any action by a guest, may it be towards our staff or otherwise, be deemed inappropriate by the Hotel, or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to attention, the Hotel reserves the right, after the allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest which may result in, but not limited to, being asked to leave without a refund for any services incurred. SMOKING *Please do not smoke in bed, rooms or in any place where smoking presents a fire hazard. *Smoking is not permitted, except in the designated smoking areas. Please refrain from any other acts that could cause a fire in your room or anywhere in the Hotel. Smoking in a non-smoking guest room will result in charges to the occupying Guest for cleaning or replacement of bedding, curtains, and so on, as well as the cost of repairing any damage. *Smoking is not permitted in Royal Agate Beach Resort, other than in designated smoking areas.
